At ITCL, the training arm of ITL, our specialty is workplace learning and performance improvement, focusing on industry-relevant and vocational skills competence. ITL is an IIW and TWF Authorized Training Body operating both the intercontinental Schemes of IIW and the continental Schemes of The Welding Federation – TWF, Africa and have trained welders in all the welding processes – MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA, including robotic welding, from International Welder to International Welding Technologists/Engineers. We also offer training for fitters (structural and pipe), and fabrication technicians, MotoBody repair welder, certified RailMet, etc.
ITL operates both the ASNT and ISO 9712 training programs, ranging from levels I to III and covering all basic and advanced NDT methods. Our DT programs are handled under vocational skills and workshop practices, and covers the full range of destructive testing including: tensile, bend, charpy, etc.
Our QA/QC courses cover all industry-relevant Engineering Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices, including: welding inspection, painting and coating inspection, lifting inspection, electrical and instrument inspection, etc.
Our vocational skills programs, largely based on Nigerian Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), are designed to cater for technical competence requirements in the energy and manufacturing industries and cover: blasting, coating & painting technicians, rope access technicians, lifting and rigging technicians, gas and water plumbing, workshop practices and machine operations.
Our soft skills programs are designed to impact both corporate bodies and individual participants in the areas of problem-solving, creativity, ethical or social ethos for effective skills utilization, and general performance. They cover human resources programs, personnel development courses, corporate governance courses, communication skills & customer relations, computer appreciation and digital literacy.
