    • What We Do

    Inspection and Tests Nigeria Limited (ITL) offers a variety of services covering third-party inspection services, including shop inspection and expediting services, project management services, vessel NDT inspection for classification societies, NDT & DT services, painting and coating technologies and inspection, and technical manpower training and supply.
    Engineering QA/QC Services

    ITL is the first indigenous Company in Nigeria to be an accredited INSPECTION BODY in line with ISO 17020. We have over 3 decades of experience in Engineering Inspection including welding inspection, Electrical/instrument, Civil, Mechanical, Lifting, Rope Access, BHA & all OCTG inspection, management, preservation & maintenance; Technical Integrity Verification for pre-commissioning and commissioning programs to ascertain functionality and reliability of Safety Critical Elements in any energy asset. We have worked in this capacity directly and indirectly for all IOCs and LOCs operating in and outside Nigeria.

    Non-destructive Examination (NDE) Services

    ITL is a known name in Nondestructive Testing (NDT) and our Accreditation to ISO 17020 covers all our NDT practices which includes all the basic methods of MT, PT, RT, UT as well as the advanced methods such as AUT, PAUT, TOFD, PULSE EDDY CURRENT, and others such as BORESCOPIC Examination, Post Weld Heat Treatment, Valve Testing using Ultraprobe, etc.

    Shop Inspection and Expediting Services

    With our team of Quality Professionals, ITL provides Shop Inspection and Expediting services for Vendor Materials (safety, electrical, maintenance, construction, etc.) through application of various inspection techniques such as; Visual testing, dimensional & quantity checks, operating test, performance test, cataloguing, loading and shipping pre & post monitoring and FAT witness. We have a global network of professional expediting companies to facilitate our work in this scope.

    Mechanical Testing Services

    ITL Laboratory is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited facility with an ASTM (NIST) Certified Charpy Unit, among other ultra-modern equipment. We provide the following services:

    ITL Facilities & Equipment Outlay
    ITL has up-to-date, ultra-modern and well-maintained equipment for what we do in the industry. We have two major offices in Nigeria: Port Harcourt and Lagos, testing laboratory and welding workshop, mobile units and caravans suitable for outside projects (onshore/offshore), and a vocational training center. The facility has 24-hrs CCTV coverage, security alarm systems and mobile police units.
